College Avenue Campus
Established before the American Revolution as Queen’s College, Rutgers has a signi昀cant
place in history, most apparent on the College Avenue campus. Connect with this rich past
by strolling along tree-lined walkways in Voorhees Mall, where our largest school today, the
School of Arts and Sciences, has many departments and classroom spaces in brownstone
buildings. Beyond Voorhees Mall is College Avenue, the namesake of the campus. Student
activities, cultural centers, and academic spaces converge here, making College Avenue a
place of inquiry and boundless spirit.
