Students who utilize Career Exploration and Success (CES) early in their collegiate careers report higher levels of
success a昀܀er graduation. We are committed to assisting you with making connections between your academic
experience and career path by providing:
• Career-related advising, drop-in hours, and online career tools
• Career and internship fairs, employer networking and information sessions, and on-campus interviewing opportunities
• Career events, workshops, and high-impact programs designed to connect you with alumni to explore careers, learn about employer
organizations, and develop life skills
• Rutgers Internship and Co-op Course (RICC), First-Year Interest Group Seminars (FIGS), 4WARD: Career Pathways Program, Rutgers Scarlet Service
Internship (RSSI) Program, and Intern for a Day (IFAD)
Whether you are in your 昀rst year or approaching graduation,
you can take advantage of CES to help you develop your
career action plan. Of the many online resources available,
Rutgers Handshake (careers.rutgers.edu/handshake) is a
career management system used to request career advising
appointments, register for workshops, apply for jobs and
internships both on and o昀 campus, schedule interviews with
