New Jersey is a state known for its grit, passion, and energy. There's no better example of all these things
than Rutgers Football game day at SHI Stadium. Home of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, SHI Stadium is
located on Busch Campus in Piscataway, New Jersey. Packed, loud, and 52,454 proud, SHI Stadium is
the site for the ultimate college game day experience. The fun doesn't just begin at kick-o昀. Four hours
prior to the start of each game, New Jerseyans unite in the excitement of our game day experience with
The Rutgers Boardwalk. Visit The Rutgers Boardwalk to enjoy carnival games, rides, live entertainment,
special guests, a beer garden, New Jersey's best food trucks, and more. Entrance is free, and there's tons
of fun for the whole family!
Get there early for the pregame parade and pep rally featuring the Marching Scarlet Knights, Spirit Team,
Sir Henry, and the Scarlet Knight riding his horse "Excalibur" down The Rutgers Boardwalk just before
the football team arrives. Then join your Scarlet Knights and head coach Greg Schiano at team arrival for
the traditional Scarlet Walk! Get your high-昀ves from the team along the Scarlet Walk as they honor the
long-standing tradition of touching the First Game statue that commemorates Rutgers' victory in the 昀rst
college football game ever played.
